Doctor of Art Creation and Studies

The Doctoral Program at ISI Yogyakarta is held based on the Permit of the Director General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture number 1881/D/T/2006, dated April 12, 2006. The study program with the name of the Doctoral Program in Art Creation and Study has two study interests/concentrations, namely Art Creation Study Interest and Art Study Interest.

ISI Yogyakarta Doctoral Program education is structurally designed to develop concepts in the fields of creation and study, in order to be able to translate them into works of art and applied research in order to answer the challenges of complex competition in the future.

Through a directed program, doctoral candidate students {promovendus} will have a comprehensive insight into the work and methodology in art, so as to be able to develop new concepts of art creation and study using interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches based on national and international culture.
