New Student Admissions for the Master's Program, Odd Semester 2024-2025

The Postgraduate Program of ISI Yogyakarta has opened admissions for Independent and Scholarship pathways for the Odd Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year for the Master of Arts Program, Master of Arts Governance Program, and Doctoral Program in Arts. Selection is open for applicants of the Independent Fee pathway, LPDP Scholarship, and Indonesian Education Scholarship (BPI) from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology who meet the academic requirements for admission to the Postgraduate Program of ISI Yogyakarta.

The stages to be completed are registering as a prospective student, participating in stages 1 and 2 of the selection, and being declared successful in the selection.

To obtain LOA, the steps that must be taken are to register as a prospective student, take part in the first and second stage of selection and pass the selection.

Administrative Requirements

- ID card, family card, and birth certificate.
- S1 diploma (Has a S1 / S2 diploma in the field of art or other fields of study, provided that the applicant has experience creating works of art and / or studying or performing the field of art that will be followed)
- Academic Transcript S1. (Possesses academic and artistic capabilities, and is deemed capable of pursuing a master's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 or a doctorate with a minimum GPA of 3.00)
- Certificate of English Language Proficiency TOEFL ITP/IELTS minimum score of 450
- Academic Ability Test (TPA/TKDA) certificate with a minimum score of 450, see at: http://www.paps.ugm.ac.id or http://upap.psikologi.ugm.ac.id/paps/jadwal/ (Yogyakarta); http://psikologi.unair.ac.id/tkda (Surabaya); http://plt.unpad.ac.id (Bandung); http://koperasi.bappenas.go.id/tpa (Jakarta) and other credible institutions
- Have a recommender who can be contacted via WhatsApp or email.
- Letter of permission/assignment to continue studies from the employing institution.
- A letter of financial guarantee for studies from the institution (scholarship) or the applicant (independent) is required, complete with a stamp duty.
- History of artistic and scientific activities (exhibitions, performances, seminars, workshops, etc.).
- Art Portfolio: This includes artistic works for applicants interested in the creation and performance of art; published scholarly works for applicants interested in art research; or arts management works for applicants interested in Arts Administration.

- Proof of payment of registration fees of Rp.250,000.00 for master's program applicants and Rp.400,000.00 for doctoral program applicants paid through the account. BPN 030 ISI Yogyakarta, with number: 0382275684 at BNI 46 Parangtritis Service Office on Jalan Parangtritis No. 127 Yogyakarta.

For Foreign Citizen Applicants (WNA), in addition to the requirements in points 1 and 2 above, it is mandatory to:
Submit a special permit letter and a photocopy of the diploma along with a diploma equivalency approval letter for a Bachelor's/Master's degree from the Embassy or Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in the applicant's home country.
Mastery of the Indonesian language.

Education Costs

The Master's program tuition fee per semester is Rp. 7,000,000.00 (seven million rupiah), and for foreign students (WNA) it is Rp. 14,000,000.00 (fourteen million rupiah).
