The three events are PBTY, which is the climax of the Lunar New Year celebration; the second is Pekcun on the South Beach; and the third is the Tiong Cu event at the Poncowinatan Temple.<\/p>\n
The chairman of the 8th Chinese Cultural Week of Yogyakarta (PBTY), Ana Haryadi Suyuti, explained that this year's 8th PBTY will be held from February 20 to 24, 2013, in Ketandan from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Western Indonesian Time.<\/p>\n
In PBTY 2013, a Performance Stage, culinary food, and 68 stands were held, filling the streets of West and East Ketandan. Meanwhile, the performing arts stage will be located in the UPN field, similar to last year's PBYT event.<\/p>\n
According to TRI KIANA HARYADI, a Barongsai performance will be held every day at 5:00 PM, and a Potehi puppet show will be held every day at 6:00 PM Western Indonesian Time.<\/p>\n
In commemoration of the 8th PBTY Anniversary in 2013, the 8th PBTY Carnival will also be held, which will feature a MURI record for a Cone-shaped Kue Keranjang (rice cake) measuring 2.564 meters in height.<\/p>\n
